Quality Education Fund Thematic Networks - Schools (QTN-S)
This programme is the continuation of the Professional Development Schools Scheme financed by the Education Development Fund. Schools with exemplary practices in learning and teaching and a good sharing culture will form a network with participating schools, focusing mainly on specific pedagogical themes to promote inter-school collaboration and professional exchange through various exchange activities.Promoting Reading across Curriculum (RaC) through e-Reading (non-fiction) in English Lessons (2024/25)

To incorporate the use of information technology (IT) into the school English Language curriculum and to use e-learning effectively in the teaching of reading skills; To introduce e-learning pedagogies and e-tools; To arouse students’ interest in reading non-fiction.
Teaching Chinese with Storybooks (2024/25)

To assist schools in developing a school-based storybook teaching curriculum that caters for students’ different learning needs; To help teachers enhance students’ interest in reading and learning Chinese, enrich students’ imagination, nurture their thinking skills and promote values education.
Enhancing Classroom Interaction and Learning Effectiveness in Chinese Language through e-Learning and New Paradigm (2024/25)

To share with participating schools on ways to cater for learner diversity by providing students with interactive and interesting learning experiences using e-learning platforms/learning tools in classroom teaching; To enhance teaching effectiveness of teachers with the adoption of intelligent assessment system/e-platforms; To enhance students’ self-directed learning ability by promoting Assessment as Learning in a school curriculum.
Development of Chinese Curriculum Leadership and Teacher Professional Learning Community for Teaching NCS Students (2024/25)

To support participating schools to develop curriculum leadership in the learning and teaching of Chinese for NCS students with reference to the Chinese Language Curriculum Second Language Framework and other resources; To enhance the professional capacity of teachers in teaching Chinese to NCS students; To develop appropriate learning and teaching materials, consolidate experience and establish a professional learning community of Chinese teachers of NCS students; To empower teachers to provide appropriate learning activities for NCS students so as to enhance their Chinese proficiency and assist them in understanding the Chinese culture.
Unleashing Students’ Potential through Developing Cross-curricular STEAM Learning Activities (2024/25)

To design and implement cross-curricular activities on STEAM education so as to strengthen the coherence and collaboration among teachers of the Science, Technology, Arts and Mathematics Education KLAs to promote the development of STEAM education; To consolidate students' subject knowledge, and unleash their potential in innovation and problem solving through STEAM learning activities; To develop the ability of students to integrate and apply their knowledge and skills across different subject disciplines for problem solving, as well as cultivating their interests in subjects related to STEAM education.
