QEF Thematic Network on “Curriculum Planning on Primary Science : Aerospace Technology and Engineering Design”(2024/25)

This QTN aims at supporting core schools in preparing to establish primary schools’ science subjects, promote the planning, implementation, and evaluation of related courses, with a focus on enhancing the development of "Aerospace technology" and "Engineering design," establishing a cross-school professional exchange network, and enhancing teachers' confidence and abilities in teaching primary schools’ science subjects.

This QTN aims at establishing a professional exchange network across schools to assist networking schools in STEAM-based curriculum planning and development. Professional development activities include workshops, demonstration classes, collaborative unit planning, designing teaching strategies and materials, classroom observations and assessments.

This QTN aims at supporting the preparation of the networking schools in launching a primary school science subject, promote the planning, implementation, and assessment of related courses, and enhance teachers' teaching abilities in "Matter, Energy, and Change" through experiential science inquiry activities, while cultivating students' scientific literacy and practical skills.
