Quality Education Fund Thematic Networks (QTNs)

This project aims share experience in designing English lessons and assignments, supporting schools in adopting diverse strategies, such as e-learning tools and virtual reality, to foster students’ self-directed learning in English.

This project aims at supporting schools to enhance the learning and teaching effectiveness of Mathematics subject and arousing students’ learning interest and motivation through enriching teachers’ learning and teaching strategies. It also promotes teachers’ professional development through classroom teaching designs that integrate theory, learning and teaching practices, and reflection.

This project aims at supporting the curriculum leaders in schools to develop appropriate learning and teaching materials with reference to the Chinese Language Curriculum Second Language Learning Framework and other resources, and enhancing teachers’ professional capacity in teaching Chinese to non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students. This is to help NCS students learn Chinese culture and enhance their learning interests in Chinese language.

This project aims at supporting schools to promote Assessment as Learning and enhance students’ self-directed learning abilities by utilising intelligent assessment system and e- platforms. The network coordinating school will also share insights on using e-learning platforms and tools with a view to providing students with interactive and engaging learning experiences, and catering for learner diversity.

This project aims at supporting schools to cater for students’ diverse learning needs and enhance students’ interest in reading and learning Chinese by developing school-based storybook teaching curricula, so as to enrich students’ imagination, as well as to nurture thinking skills and proper values and attitudes.
