Quality Education Fund Thematic Networks (QTNs)

The QEF Thematic Network was initiated in 2006 to disseminate good practices derived from QEF projects and promote professional sharing through networking different schools and educational bodies. This project aims at supporting schools to enhance the learning and teaching effectiveness of Mathematics subject and arousing students’ learning interest and motivation through enriching teachers’ learning and teaching strategies. This project aims at supporting the curriculum leaders in schools to develop appropriate learning and teaching materials with reference to the Chinese Language Curriculum Second Language Learning Framework and other resources, and enhancing teachers’ professional capacity in teaching Chinese to non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students. This is to help NCS students learn Chinese culture and enhance their learning interests in Chinese language.
