The project aims at enhancing students' interest in reading and equipping teachers and parents with the necessary skills to guide children reading stories through implementation of a reading scheme and improving the facilities of the school library, holding workshops and talks for teachers and parents. Around 100 students and 200 teachers and parents of the applicant kindergarten are the target beneficiaries. A leaflet of “The Story of Cheung Chau (長洲的故事)" recording the project's objectives, progress and outcome will be the tangible deliverable.
