The project aims at enhancing students' English learning, creativity and self-directed learning by involving 19 CCC primary schools to develop 42 electronic story books with extended tasks.
The project plans to (1) identify teachers under pressure and teach them with coping strategies; (2) empower middle managers of 22 participating schools, including social workers and counselling teachers, to formulate their respective School-based Teacher Support Policy; and (3) form learning circles to cultivate a caring culture to facilitate mutual support among teachers.
The project aims at integrating the four areas of music activities, i.e. creating (創作), performing (演奏), listening (聆聽), and sharing (交流) into the music curriculum for P.1 to P.6 students of the 21 primary schools under the Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China (CCC) through organizing a variety of school-based and joint-school music activities. A DVD and a website with project information and highlights will be developed.
