To enhance teachers’ teaching skills of STEM education and scientific investigations, e.g. prediction, inquiry and observation; To lead teachers to design student learning portfolios so as to enhance the learning effectiveness of students in STEM-related areas and to promote students’ reflection and self-management; To establish an interactive teacher professional learning community that promotes experience sharing and professional dialogue; To facilitate the review and adaptation of school-based General Studies curriculum.

• To facilitate teachers to design student learning portfolios so as to enhance the learning effectiveness of students in STEM education and to enhance students’ reflection and self-management skills using the learning portfolio as an assessment tool;
• To establish an interactive professional learning community that allows teachers’ mutual sharing of their experience of lesson design and teaching;
• To facilitate the consolidation and adaptation of the school-based General Studies curriculum in the Participating Schools.
