Quality Education Fund Thematic Networks - Schools (QTN-S)

This programme is the continuation of the Professional Development Schools Scheme financed by the Education Development Fund. Schools with exemplary practices in learning and teaching and a good sharing culture will form a network with participating schools, focusing mainly on specific pedagogical themes to promote inter-school collaboration and professional exchange through various exchange activities.

To empower teachers to implement multi-dimensional pedagogic and assessment strategies in core subjects (Chinese Language, Mathematics and General Studies), and record student performance in Learning Progression Framework so as to promote the effectiveness of learning and teaching; To let teachers master the effective strategies and skills in teaching students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and enhance their learning effectiveness through refining the curriculum and assessment accommodation such as developing multiple assessment strategies; To assist teachers with the implementation of STEAM education in different subjects (General Studies, Mathematics, Computer and Design and Technology). The learning effectiveness of SEN students in STEAM education can be enhanced through the development of school-based STEAM learning and teaching activities and a resource depository; To let teachers master the skills of teaching Positive Education so as to establish a caring and harmonic school culture and cultivate the good character of students.
