This programme is the continuation of the University-School Support Programmes financed by the Education Development Fund. Play-Learn-Grow in Hong Kong Kindergartens (2021/22)

The project aims to provide professional support to the kindergarten education sector for strengthening their leadership development and enhancing teachers’ professional capacity for designing and implementing play-based curriculum to foster whole-child development.
Mindshift Educational Networking Programme (Phase III) (2021/22)

To enhance teachers’ understanding of mental health, and their knowledge (including mental health problems induced by being frequently exposed to stressful events during the social unrest, such as acute stress disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, etc.) and skills in handling stress-induced emotional and behavioural problems arising from students;
To develop a positive mental health culture in secondary schools by enhancing the wellness of mind and body and increasing capacity to handle mental health concerns;
To cultivate a friendly environment by promoting a mental health awareness in schools; and
To enhance students’ understanding of mental wellness and illness, skills to cope with stress and emotions, and empathy towards people with mental illness (in particular psychosis).
Enhancing Assessment Literacy of Teachers in Primary/Secondary Schools (2021/22)

Self-directed Learning as a Strategy to Promote STEM Education (2021/22)

To support the participating schools in strategic planning and implementation of STEM-related lessons and curriculum using a whole-school approach;
To strengthen curriculum leadership, foster collaboration across STEM-related KLAs / subjects such as Mathematics, Science / General Studies and Technology Education;
To enhance teachers’ professional capacity to adopt self-directed learning as a strategy to promote STEM education; and
To strengthen students’ ability to integrate and apply knowledge and skills across different subject disciplines to unleash their innovation, and to help them develop positive values.
