Does Sports and Physical Activity Participation Affect Academic Performance in Hong Kong Secondary School Students? A Longitudinal Study

The project aims to use a longitudinal approach to investigate the influence of participating in sports/ physical activities (PA) on academic performance. Change in physical fitness will also be assessed as a secondary measure. The outcome of the study will serve as an important reference for schools, teachers, parents and students to help enhance their awareness on the effect of participation in physical activities. The tangible deliverables will include a report and press release on the project findings.
