Learn to Sense, Sense to Learn – The development of an “Integrated Sensory Training” program for students with visual impairment and multiple disabilities

The project aims at developing a school based “Integrated Sensory Training (IST)” program; establishing a Multi-Sensory Room (MS Room) catering needs for visually impaired students with multiple disabilities; facilitating students' sensory development in visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, proprioceptive and vestibular aspects; enhancing students' positive learning in reaction to different sensory stimuli; and improving students' ability in sensory and motor coordination.
