This resource package is an intervention to improve students' English writing competence through teaching self-regulated reading and writing strategies facilitated by e-Learning resources in primary schools. It includes the self-regulated reading-to-write (SR-R2W) strategies and lesson plans and a series of e-Learning tools to teach English writing. With this resource package, English language teachers will be able to teach self-regulation as an important learning tool to primary school students and teach English writing through the use of e-Learning resources and tools more effectively.
This resource package contains two of the six modules (Drama and e-Learning Modules) that are designed for primary English teachers to enhance language abilities in primary school students. Six modules - Phonics, Reading, E-Learning, Drama, Intervention Programmes and Enrichment Programmes - have been developed by incorporating and extending the successful pedagogic experiences of QEF projects on English Language (Primary), with detailed lesson plans, teaching suggestions and supporting materials.
