  • Cantonese Opera Programme for Po Leung Kuk Affiliated Secondary Schools

  • The project aims at promoting Chinese art and culture through structured 3-year training of Cantonese Opera for groups of S1 / S2 / S3 students in the 2 participating PLK secondary schools, arousing their interest and enhancing their appreciation towards Cantonese Opera and developing a 3-year structured curriculum program for secondary students to learn and master the basic skills of Cantonese Opera performance. Deliverable includes the development of a 3-year structured curriculum program for secondary students to learn and master the basic skills of Cantonese Opera performance.

  • Pre-primary Education (21 Jan 2011)

  • In this activity, there was a sharing session on the importance of correct Cantonese pronunciation to infants’ language development, an introduction to the contents of the Cantonese pronunciation tests for teachers and students and a lesson demonstration of teaching Cantonese pronunciation. Interested teachers could even try a test of Cantonese pronunciation on the spot.
