The project aims at providing opportunities for primary and secondary school teachers to facilitate their understanding of values education through a series of activities and training workshops.
The project aims at promoting higher-order thinking and creativity of about 350 academically more able primary and secondary students in 10 schools through organizing 52 hours of enrichment and academic service learning trainings in areas of Science, Humanities and Business Studies/Commerce. The project deliverables include 5 sets of resource packages for enhancement programme, a dissemination seminar and an online teaching resources platform.
The project aims at enhancing the self-awareness, self-discipline, self-confidence, interpersonal relationship and care for the society of about 320 S.4 and S.6 students of the applicant school and helping them set personal goals through a programme on the ethics of Confucius and Mencius. No tangible deliverables will be produced.
To further sustain the development of project learning in the school sector, the QEF set up a QEF Thematic Network (QTN) on Project Learning in early 2010 with the aim of consolidating and promoting the experience of implementing project learning.
