The project aims to enhance assessment literacy of teachers and students in the participating schools, and to disseminate desirable practices to further promote assessment for learning and assessment as learning.
The project aims at strengthening school leaders' role in leading subject panels to align classroom learning and teaching with school development plans by using the SECI (socialisation, externalisation, combination and internalisation) knowledge creation model as a guiding framework. 20 principals and 80 teachers from 20 participating schools will directly benefit from the project activities. The proposed deliverables include 20 in-house open lessons and 4 public lessons, a guide book and 4 cluster networks formed.
The project aims at facilitating transition from kindergarten to primary school of primary one students through a social and emotional skills training programme. A total of 640 P1 students, 1280 parents and 200 teachers from 4 primary schools will benefit. A website will be developed to share all the relevant materials such as lesson plans, teaching and learning resources, training materials, videos and research findings.
The project aims at enhancing the well-being of teachers in Hong Kong through mindfulness training. Teachers of 8 primary schools will be the beneficiaries. Project deliverables are a mindfulness training package for teachers and a research manuscript.
