QEF 25th Anniversary Exposition

The Quality Education Fund (thereafter the QEF) will organise the QEF 25th Anniversary Exposition cum Teachers’ Professional Experience Sharing Month (TPESM) 2023 on 25 March 2023 (Saturday) at S. K. H. Holy Cross Primary School. Head of schools and teachers may participate in the opening ceremony cum prize presentation, thematic seminar, TPESM sharing sessions via online platforms, and participate in person or via online platform for the QEF project exhibition, QEF Thematic Networks (QTN) showcases with game booths, as well as the QEF products sales booth.

Riding on the 25th anniversary of the QEF in 2023, the QEF 25th Anniversary Exposition cum TPESM 2023 (thereafter the Event) themed on “Leveraging Wisdom from Experience Inspiring Future with Innovation”, will be held with a view to disseminating to the education sector and the public the deliverables of the QEF over the years, as well as providing a platform for various stakeholders to exchange professional knowledge on topics related to quality education of Hong Kong.

Programme of the Event

There will be a thematic seminar and 15 sharing sessions with the theme of “Focus on Technology and National Affairs Emphasis on Balanced Development” covering topics of “Technology Education”, “Education about National Affairs” and “Positive Education” under the TPESM 2023 which is co-organised by QEF and educational bodies. The sharing sessions will cover a range of topics including “Values Education”, “STEAM Education”, “Early Childhood Education”, “Creative Education”, “National Identity” and so on, with a view to enhancing teachers’ professional development and promoting quality education through exchange and sharing.

The prize presentation for “QEF 25th Anniversary Folder Design Competition” and “QEF 25th Anniversary Pin Design Competition” will be held at the Event. In order to disseminate the fruitful outcomes of QEF projects and promote professional exchange in the education sector, there will also be students’ performance, QEF project exhibition, QTN showcases with game booths, as well as QEF products sales booth. A promotion video celebrating QEF’s 25th Anniversary will be debuted at the Event. A 25%-off discount will also be offered for any on-site purchase of QEF products.

In light of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Event will be conducted in hybrid mode and made available to participants both on-site and through livestream on online platforms.

Schools
  • Heads of schools and teachers are invited to join the Event through online platform by enrolling through Training Calendar System (TCS) of the EDB at with Course ID EI0020220467, EI0020220468, EI0020220469, and EI0020220470 on or before 17 February 2023 (Friday).
  • The QEF project exhibition, QTN showcases with game booths, as well as the QEF products sales booth, could be visited either in person or through online platforms. If heads of schools or teachers are interested in visiting these showcases or booths, please enroll through Training Calendar System (TCS) of the EDB by the above date as well. The Course ID for visiting in person and through online platforms are EI0020220471 and EI0020220472 respectively.
  • For teachers who do not have a TCS account, please email to qef_dissemination@edb.gov.hk for the enrolment form. Participants should ensure that the email address provided or the default email address on TCS is correct in order to receive the Event information.
Parents and Public
  • For parents and public who are interested in joining the event, please download the enrolment form and return the completed form by email to qef_dissemination@edb.gov.hk on or before 17 February 2023 (Friday).

Enrolment Confirmation

Confirmation email will be sent to participants through the default email address in TCS account or that provided in the enrolment form no later than 17 February 2023 (Friday). For any enquiries, please email to qef_dissemination@edb.gov.hk.

Special Arrangement under Adverse Weather Conditions

In the event of a public announcement by the EDB that classes are to be suspended as a result of adverse weather conditions (e.g. tropical cyclones and/or rainstorm) or for any reasons, the full-day event will be postponed to 1 April 2023 (Saturday) without further notice.

QEF Products Sales

The QEF will set up QEF products sales booth at the venue of the 25th Anniversary Exposition cum TPESM 2023 and offer a 25%-off discount for any on-site purchase. To reduce the risk of virus transmission, only payment by Octopus will be accepted at the venue to avoid cash exchange as well as interactions and gathering of crowds.

Teachers who are unable to attend the Event but wish to purchase QEF products are welcomed to check out the “QEF Product Catalogue 2022/23”. To order the products, please complete the order form attached with the Catalogue and send to qef_dissemination@edb.gov.hk by email. The QEF Secretariat will confirm receipt of order form and the arrangement of payment and collection of the ordered products within 10 working days via email. Nevertheless, no discount will be applicable to orders received through this purchase method.
